Man Arrested in Salford After Threatening to Slit a Jew's Throat
Greater Manchester Police have arrested a man in Salford following a disturbing antisemitic incident. The suspect was captured on video allegedly threatening to slit a Jewish person’s throat and declaring he would turn Britain into a "Nazi-style gas chamber."

A man was arrested last night after he allegedly threatened to slit a Jewish person’s throat and boasted of turning Britain into a Nazi-style gas chamber for Jews.
According to video footage circulating on social media and shared by Rabbi Doron Birnbaum, the suspect shouted:
“I’m going to take knives and cut your **** throat”“Jew leave the country, and we’ll make it like the Nazis in the gas chambers.”
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the arrest in Salford last night (Wednesday). The man is being held on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offences and threats to kill.
The incident is the latest in a relentless wave of antisemitic harassment and threats targeting Jewish communities across the UK, particularly in Greater Manchester and north London. Jewish leaders have repeatedly warned that the situation has deteriorated sharply since October 7, 2023, with explicit Nazi-referencing abuse becoming disturbingly commonplace.
Rabbi Birnbaum, a vocal advocate for Jewish security in Britain, posted the details shortly after the arrest, highlighting the growing sense of insecurity felt by many in the community.
Police have not yet released the suspect’s identity or age, but investigations are ongoing.
This case comes amid heightened tensions and multiple recent antisemitic incidents in the region, including stabbings, protests outside Jewish institutions, and threats against synagogues and individuals.
