A 30-year-old man was shot and killed in Nazareth on Thursday evening, marking the fourth murder in the northern Israeli city within 48 hours. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national ambulance service, were called to the scene where they found the victim critically wounded with a penetrating injury. Despite intensive resuscitation efforts at the scene and during transport to the Italian Hospital in Nazareth, medical staff later pronounced him dead.
MDA senior medic Ala Aldin Bashir, who responded on the organization's motorcycle unit, described the scene: "When we arrived, we were led to the man who was unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing. We immediately began advanced resuscitation procedures including ventilation and medication, and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care ambulance while continuing resuscitation efforts to the hospital in critical condition." Police have opened an investigation into the incident and launched searches for suspects in the shooting.
