The SSQ Reign of Terror: Eight Teens Face Charges for Brutal Street Stabbing
Eight teenagers belonging to the notorious "SSQ" gang are set to be indicted following a series of brutal stabbings and social media-fueled assaults across Tel Aviv.

Authorities have announced a major move against the "SSQ" youth gang, a group of teenagers suspected of orchestrating a violent crime wave across Tel Aviv. On Thursday, prosecutors filed a statement against eight minors following a vicious stabbing on Arlozorov Street that occurred last week. The police intend to file formal indictments and keep the suspects in custody until the end of legal proceedings. This move comes after an intensive investigation by the Youth Department of the Lev Tel Aviv station, which gathered evidence linking the group to multiple unprovoked attacks.
The Arlozorov incident, which took place near midnight on April 23, involved dozens of youths chasing down a teenager and stabbing him nine times. The victim was rushed to the hospital by paramedics while the suspects fled the scene. Investigators believe the SSQ gang frequently documents their violent robberies and assaults to distribute the footage on social media. Just days before the stabbing, the group was linked to another violent robbery at a cafe in North Tel Aviv.
The violence has also targeted younger victims in acts of calculated revenge. Disturbing footage recently circulated online showing approximately ten boys, allegedly from the SSQ gang, brutally attacking a 12-year-old girl in South Tel Aviv. The girl was beaten and pulled by her hair while lying on the ground, reportedly because her brother had previously filed a police complaint against the gang. Her father, speaking through tears, told reporters, "They caught her, pulled her hair, and beat her. I cry when I see it". Despite these arrests, residents in the northern parts of the city remain fearful as similar reports of youth violence continue to emerge.
