Ariana Grande Isn’t Done Singing — Even as Hollywood Calls

Despite stepping further into Hollywood, the Grammy-nominated artist makes it clear: music remains her core passion.

Pop sensation Ariana Grande is expanding her presence on the silver screen, but not at the expense of her music career. Following her role as Glinda in Wicked, Grande has officially joined the cast of Oh, The Places You'll Go!, a cinematic adaptation of the beloved Dr. Seuss classic. Yet, amid growing speculation from fans, the artist is reassuring the world that she’s not trading her microphone for a movie script.

In a statement shared across her social media platforms, Grande reaffirmed her commitment to music, calling it her "lifeline" and promising fans that she’s carving out space to embrace both singing and acting. "There will need to be room made for all of it," she wrote.

Grande’s most recent album, Eternal Sunshine (2024), garnered three Grammy nominations and was praised for its emotional depth and artistic maturity. However, fans have yet to see it performed live. Her last global tour—Sweetener World Tour—wrapped up in 2019, leaving audiences eager for a return to the stage.

Now, there’s hope. In the same message, Grande hinted at potential live performances in 2026, writing, "I'm working on a plan to sing for you all next year—even if it's just for a little."

Balancing multiple creative ventures, including her beauty brand r.e.m. beauty, Grande acknowledged that her music career may look different than it once did. “I feel grateful and excited and inspired,” she shared. “Finding a balance between many projects and endeavours I love and doing it my own way.”

The announcement has sparked mixed reactions among fans. Michael Rodrigues De Jesus, a devoted 23-year-old follower from Luton, admitted he “internally screamed” at the possibility of a tour but anticipates it may be a smaller-scale event. “A lot of fans might be upset,” he said. “Some are worried that movies are becoming her main thing.”

Despite the concerns, Michael sees the artist’s evolution as a positive. “It’s exciting to see someone you admire grow and try new things,” he noted. “We get to experience her artistry in more dimensions.”

For now, Grande’s message is clear: she’s not saying goodbye to music—she’s just adding more chapters to her story.
