The Tzeva Shachor party released a new campaign video on Wednesday built around a single question: if the Bismuth draft law cannot protect the Torah world, what solution are the chareidi parties offering for the day after the election?
The video opens with the words of HaRav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlita, rosh yeshiva of Slabodka, explaining why a law containing fifty-percent draft targets and sanctions against bnei yeshiva could not be advanced. "Because it will not be possible to continue the way of life of the yeshivos under this law," he said.
It then cuts to MK Yitzchak Pindrus, who detailed the personal, family and economic sanctions that would fall on every ben yeshiva even under the law that was presented as a solution for those learning Torah.
