"Baruch dayan ha'emet": The singer Dedi Graucher has passed away

The veteran Hasidic singer, Daddy Graucher, passed away after a long battle with a serious illness. The 62-year-old singer was considered one of the greatest Hasidic singers in the 90s, and his albums sold tens of thousands of copies.

The ultra-Orthodox businessman and singer Dedi Graucher passed away this evening after a battle with a serious illness. The late Graucher, 62 years old, was hospitalized intermittently in hospitals due to a serious illness and about three months ago he was hospitalized again in Tel Hashomer Hospital due to the deterioration of his condition.

In the 1990s Graucher was one of the most prominent and successful singers in Hasidic music, his popular albums sold tens of thousands of copies and crowds filled his concerts. Among his outstanding hits are: "Hebron the City of the Ancestors", "He will redeem us" and "I will give you this land". In recent years he retired from music and turned to the business world.

During his career, Graucher participated in a concert that is considered the greatest in the history of Hasidic music, the concert was held in Yarkon Park, alongside Avraham Fried and Mordechai Ben David. According to estimates, about 100 thousand people came to the concert.
