From Supporting Palestinian Liberation to Condemning Extremism: Milagro Jones changes his tune after being attacked on UCLA campus
UCLA Senior's violent encounter with Pro-Hamas protesters sparks national debate on campus safety and inclusivity.

Milagro Jones, an independent recording and performing artist and a UCLA student, recently went to campus to attend classes and show some support to the Pro-Palestine camp, opposing what he felt was Israel’s indiscriminate bombing of Gaza.
However things took a strange turn when pro-Hamas demonstrators mistakenly identified him as a Jew. Speaking to FOX News, Jones recounted the distressing events that unfolded on campus, particularly highlighting two instances where protesters obstructed his path and allegedly assaulted him and his brother.
"I was stopped by masked, anti-Israel protesters who mistook me for someone of Jewish background ... They physically assaulted me. The last time that I was on campus, they actually punched my brother in the head. They reached into their hoodie pocket and claimed that they had a gun."
Jones's narrative sheds light on the escalating tension and violence stemming from the protests, underscoring his mission to restore normalcy and access to campus facilities, such as the library. "I just wanted to reclaim our campus," Jones emphasized. "I want all students to feel safe and have equal access without fear of segregation or intimidation. A campus should be a place for learning, unity, and positivity."
As reported by Israel HaYom, Jones shared, "I was probably equally as influenced by these organizations before this incident... Experiencing this firsthand has completely changed my outlook. Now, I'm focused on exposing the truth about how these groups operate on college campuses across the US." He is now a staunch Israel activist, using his platform to combat anti-Israel propaganda.
Jones's courage in addressing these challenges has resonated widely, particularly on social media where his TikTok video quickly went viral, sparking a national conversation on campus safety and the impact of ideological divisions.
Milagro is now staunchly pro-Israel, attending events
