The National Security Council (NSC) warned this morning (Sunday) that after the murder of Chabad emissary Rabbi Zvi Kogan, HY"D, apparently by a squad directed by Iran, there is a security threat for Israeli and Jewish citizens in the region.

The National Security Council said in a statement: "On November 21, terrorist elements murdered an Israeli citizen in the United Arab Emirates, and there is concern that there is still a threat on the ground against Israelis and Jews in the arena - the National Security Council today reiterates to the Israeli public that the UAE has a Level 3 travel warning (medium threat), which recommends avoiding travel that is not essential to the destination, and calls on those staying in the emirates to take precautionary measures."

National Security Council Guidelines:

• Avoid going to businesses, gathering and entertainment venues identified with the Israeli and Jewish populations.

• Maintain increased vigilance in public places (including restaurants, hotels, bars, etc.).

• Avoid externalizing Israeli symbols.

• Cooperate with the local security forces, obey their instructions, and report immediately if you have been exposed to terrorist activity.

• Avoid posting travel details on social networks and posting photos and visit details before the trip and in real time, including various groups focused on tourism abroad.

• Visitors to the country are advised to minimize traffic and stay in secure areas.
