Former Attorney General Mandelblit reveals he moved Netanyahu probe due to prosecutors defying his directives

Former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit disclosed that he transferred the Netanyahu investigation from the Jerusalem District Attorney's Office to the Taxation and Economic Crimes Prosecutor's Office because prosecutors acted against his instructions. "They come to meetings and present arguments, and I tell them not to pursue those directions. They try to move forward anyway, and I feel that there's an attempt here to steer things in directions I don't want to go. I felt uncomfortable with them," Mandelblit stated.
