Hamas executes alleged collaborator accused of aiding Israel in killing senior commander
Hamas's Internal Security Apparatus in Gaza announced the execution of a collaborator identified by initials M.M., accused of assisting Israel in the assassination of Izz al-Din al-Haddad, a commander in Hamas's military wing. Gazan sources identify the executed individual as Mustafa Mahana, a former officer in the Palestinian Authority's Preventive Security Intelligence apparatus who was related by marriage to al-Haddad. According to Hamas-affiliated sources, Mahana reported al-Haddad's movements to Israel one minute before the assassination and confirmed his death at the hospital. The sources claim he assisted Israel in eliminating 37 senior Hamas officials during the war.
