Kiryat Shmona municipality tells northern residents that security forces will carry out strikes across the border in the coming hours; no special instructions at this stage
The Kiryat Shmona municipality issued a notice Sunday evening updating residents of the city and surrounding Galilee communities ahead of planned IDF operations across the Lebanese border.
According to the municipal announcement, the IDF is expected to carry out a wave of strikes in Lebanese territory in the coming hours. As a result of the air force and artillery activity, loud explosions are expected to be heard throughout the Galilee and northern regions.
Municipal officials emphasized that at this stage there are no special instructions for the public and no changes to current defense guidelines. The municipality pledged to continue updating residents as needed.
