Indian cargo dhow attacked near Oman coast, one crew member killed

An Indian cargo dhow, MSV AL JUSUF, was struck by an unidentified aerial object near the Oman coast on November 2, killing one of its 14 Indian crew members. India's shipping minister Sarbananda Sonowal confirmed the attack. Oman's coast guard rescued the remaining 13 crew members. Separately, tugboat SELAT STORM sank in the Strait of Hormuz following a security incident at coordinates 26-22.55N 056-20.47E, approximately 0.6 nautical miles west of Jazirat Um Al Ghanam.
