Israel's national motorcycle patrol unit in the southern district documented a driver committing two serious traffic violations simultaneously: using a mobile phone while driving and having an unrestrained minor standing in the vehicle. The incident was captured using still cameras during digital enforcement operations on southern roads.
According to the police spokesperson, the driver was recorded holding her mobile phone while operating the vehicle. At the same time, a child was standing beside her in the car, not secured in a safety seat as required by law. A citation for distracted driving was processed and sent to the vehicle's owner shortly after the incident.
