Israeli special forces detain wanted Palestinian in Balata Camp near Nablus

Israeli special forces detained a wanted Palestinian man in Balata Camp near Nablus overnight, police reported. Officers from the Gideon unit (Unit 33) located the 35-year-old suspect, described as a Tanzim operative with access to weapons, inside a store. The man resisted arrest and attempted to flee, and was shot in the leg before being detained. He has been transferred to Shin Bet for questioning. Palestinian media identified him as Rami Shalbai.
