Religious Zionism in talks for broad govt

Incoming MK Zvika Mor reveals his party is holding discussions with center-left figures toward a formal meeting in the coming days, before the Knesset is sworn in

Religious Zionism in Talks With Center-Left Parties for Broad Coalition

As coalition negotiations remain deadlocked and the political map frozen, incoming MK Zvika Mor of Religious Zionism has disclosed that his party is holding quiet talks with figures in the center-left bloc to examine the feasibility of forming a broad government.

In an interview with the Moreshet network, Mor revealed that Religious Zionism is conducting conversations with various center-left actors aimed at exploring whether a wide coalition is possible.

"There are people in the center-left bloc who speak my language," Mor said during the interview, adding that the contacts are expected to advance to a more formal stage in the near future.

Mor emphasized that the planned meetings are not merely a theoretical idea but practical contacts set to take place in the coming days.

"We are expected to meet with them in the coming days, even before the Knesset is sworn in," the former MK revealed. Mor concluded by pointing to what he sees as a shared national need on both sides: "They see, as I do, the need for a broad national government."
