Netanyahu defense presents document alleging journalist pressured police to escalate investigation

In Netanyahu's trial, the defense presented a 2016 document claiming journalist Raviv Drucker pressured police to convert a preliminary inquiry into a criminal investigation against the Prime Minister as a condition for his cooperation. The document, authored by investigator Momi Meshulam on October 19, 2016, describes a phone conversation in which Drucker allegedly stated he would be more cooperative if the Attorney General announced the inquiry would become a criminal investigation "in order to influence the status of the investigation." Attorney Hadad presented the document during proceedings.
