Qatar Defense Minister calls for economic ties with Iran to prevent conflict

Qatar's Defense Minister Sheikh Saoud Al Thani advocated for building economic bridges with Iran to prevent future conflict. He drew a parallel to Germany and France, which fought three major wars over 75 years before establishing economic cooperation starting with Airbus in 1970. "We want to build a bridge in order to use economic ties to prevent any conflict," he said, noting that "Iran is our neighbor. We need to find ways to prevent any kind of conflict in the future."
