Journalist Barak Seri addressed the results of Likud's primary elections on Tuesday during his Radio 103FM program, focusing particularly on the successful candidacies of David Bitan and Tally Gotliv, who secured spots on the party's realistic slate.
"For months we've been reporting that half of the Likud list would be pushed out of the Knesset," Seri said. "Additionally, Prime Minister Netanyahu really didn't want Bitan and Gotliev on the list, but he'll be forced to accept them."
According to reports, Netanyahu's inner circle attempted to politically sideline Gotliv, Bitan, and Nir Barkat through various means. Channel 12 News previously reported that Barkat had attempted to oust Netanyahu as prime minister following the elections.
