US President Donald Trump weighed in Tuesday evening on the wave of student protests sweeping France, calling the unrest "mass immigration that has spiraled out of control" and accusing the country's Muslim citizens of attempting to seize control through violence.
"What is happening in France is nothing less than mass immigration that has spiraled out of control," Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social. "This is not about schools, this is Islam trying to take over a country that was once great."
