Trump praises Democrat Haley Stevens for endorsing Republican in Michigan Senate race

President Trump praised Democratic congresswoman Haley Stevens for endorsing Republican Mike Rogers in Michigan's Senate race after she lost the Democratic primary to Abdul El-Sayed. Trump called Stevens "highly respected" and said her endorsement demonstrates "tremendous, almost unprecedented, loyalty to the wonderful residents of Michigan." He highlighted her support base among African American and Jewish communities, stating "There's a name for this: courage." Stevens had previously announced her support for Rogers over El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee, in the closely contested Senate race.
