Turkish Ice Cream Vendor Outsmarted by Customer in Viral Video

A video that has gone viral online shows a customer who decided to beat a Turkish ice cream vendor at his own game, by using the seller's tricks against him.

Anyone who has encountered a Turkish ice cream vendor knows the routine well: the seller places a scoop of ice cream in a cone, attaches it to a long metal rod, and when the customer reaches out to take it, the vendor pulls it away at the last second. He spins the rod, switches the cone from hand to hand, and sometimes makes the customer try repeatedly before finally handing over the ice cream.

But this video captured a completely different scenario.

When the vendor extended the ice cream cone to the customer using the rod, the customer managed to grab the cone, and instead of returning it as expected, he simply ate it!

The vendor didn't give up. He prepared another cone and tried the same trick again, expecting the customer to attempt grabbing it. But the customer had already figured out the game. Once again, he managed to take the cone, ate it, and left the vendor looking surprised.

Then came the third attempt.

Again the vendor extended a cone using the rod, and again the customer managed to turn the move to his advantage. After three attempts, the vendor appeared to give up on the game and handed the customer his ice cream.

Reactions online came quickly. Many users laughed at the fact that the customer succeeded, at least this time, in "beating" the ice cream vendor at the game he himself invented!
