Zelensky warns of looming agricultural crisis as Russia blocks grain exports

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated at the Warsaw Security Forum that Russia shows no signs of wanting to end the war or take steps toward de-escalation. He warned that Russia's blockade of the sea is preventing millions of tons of Ukrainian grain from reaching markets in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Zelensky cautioned that within one or two months, an agricultural crisis will emerge, with insufficient food supplies for these regions. He noted that while the focus has been on energy issues like diesel, the United States isn't feeling the impact of the grain shortage, leading to neglect of what he called "another challenge" of potential widespread hunger.
