Alon Ohel undergoes critical eye and orthopedic surgery
Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva announced that Alon Ohel, a survivor of recent captivity, has undergone two critical surgeries: a complex eye operation and an orthopedic procedure to remove a fragment from his shoulder. The eye surgery was designed to reconstruct the eye’s structure and improve vision, following a prolonged period in harsh conditions without medical care. The orthopedic operation was successfully completed, with the fragment safely extracted from his shoulder. Medical staff emphasized the delicate nature of both procedures and noted that the surgeries are a key step in Ohel’s ongoing recovery process.
