No Longer Two Armies

Side-by-Side: The "Amazing" Strategic Sync Between the IDF and the US Military

Senior Israeli defense officials have described the current operations as a "joint war" with the United States, utilizing massive "ammunition trains" to systematically dismantle Iranian assets.

A senior Israeli security official revealed on Wednesday evening that the war against Iran has evolved into a fully synchronized "joint war" between the United States and Israel. Describing the cooperation as "amazing," the official noted that the two nations are no longer simply coordinating their actions but are operating as a single strategic, operational, and tactical unit. This unified front is currently executing a methodically planned aerial campaign involving "trains" or large-scale flights of bombers and fighter jets designed to methodically erase high-value targets. As the war enters its second week, the focus remains on maintaining a "long breath", ensuring that manpower, ammunition supplies, and strategic objectives are perfectly aligned for a campaign that may last longer than originally anticipated.

The Mechanism of the Joint War

The level of integration between the IDF and the US military is reportedly at an all-time high. Every strike is the result of shared intelligence and coordinated decision-making. "In the end, this is a joint war. It's not us and them, it's us together with them and they with us. Together. It's an amazing thing," the senior official stated. This partnership allows for a "multi-arena perspective," ensuring that while the primary focus is on the Iranian mainland, the threats from Hezbollah in Lebanon and other proxies are also addressed. The joint command is currently adjusting its plans daily, using real-time intelligence to determine which targets require the immediate attention of the massive aerial "trains" currently crossing the region's skies.

Planning for the Long Haul

While there is a possibility that the war could conclude "soon," the defense establishment is making all necessary preparations for a "prolonged campaign." This includes the meticulous planning of ammunition consumption rates, the management of reserve personnel, and the long-term endurance of the Home Front. The official explained that the "focus is on Iran" and that the military is following a strict system based on specific targets and a day-by-day schedule. By managing their resources carefully, the coalition aims to ensure they do not run out of steam before the regime’s military capabilities are completely neutralized. "We are preparing in all aspects, from planning the amount of ammunition per day to the multi-arena outlook," the official added.

Strategic Adjustments

The war is not static, and the coalition is constantly making "adjustments" based on the effectiveness of their strikes. If a certain type of target or a specific geographic area is found to be more critical than previously thought, the "ammunition trains" are redirected to maximize the impact. This flexibility, combined with the "unprecedented support" of the American government, has allowed the IDF to maintain a high tempo of operations without overextending its forces. As the campaign continues, the joint US-Israeli command remains confident that their systematic approach will eventually leave the Iranian regime with no choice but to concede.
