Dana Eden, 52, the Israeli producer and co-creator of the hit Apple TV+ series 'Tehran', has died suddenly. She was found lifeless in her hotel room in Athens, Greece, yesterday while filming Season 4 of the show.

Open Source Intel reported:

Dana had been staying at the hotel for about 2 weeks while filming the 4th season of “Tehran” in Greece.

Eden was a key figure in Israeli TV, also behind shows like Shakshuka, Michael, and Magpie.

The Israeli Embassy in Athens is handling the tragic situation in Greece. They are in close contact with Dana's family, and are providing them with support and assistance during this incredibly difficult time.

Her production company, Dana & Shula Productions, said they are "shocked and heartbroken."

Although Haaretz claimed that Israeli security sources are not ruling out foul play, with some pointing to possible Iranian involvement due to the series' plot about a Mossad agent operating in Tehran, her production company emphatically denied it.

They stated:

"Dana & Shula Productions would like to make it clear that the rumors circulating about a criminal or nationalistic motive behind her death are completely false and unfounded.
We are calling on the media and the public to stop spreading unverified theories and to please act responsibly and sensitively.
This is a moment of immense pain for her family, friends, and colleagues. We ask everyone to respect Dana's memory and the privacy of her loved ones at this difficult time."
