British singer and international pop icon Boy George is scheduled to perform in Israel this November at the Menorah Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv, according to an announcement first made on the Israeli television program "Good Evening with Guy Pines." Due to anticipated demand, producers are reportedly considering adding a second show date.
The planned visit by the former Culture Club frontman follows months of vocal public support for Israel throughout the ongoing war. Last month, the British artist released "We Will Dance Again" (Od Nirkod), a song dedicated to the survivors and victims of the Nova music festival massacre on October 7th. The track featured an unambiguous statement of solidarity and included Hebrew lyrics, generating significant attention internationally.
The singer's warm connection to Israel now appears set to move from virtual support to the stage. Barring any last-minute changes, Israeli audiences will have the opportunity to see the 1980s star perform live in Tel Aviv this autumn.
