Eurovision Fix: Israel Granted Unprecedented Extra Rehearsal After Cameraman Collides with Dancer
Following a collision between a cameraman and a dancer during rehearsals, the Israeli Eurovision team was granted a special extra rehearsal to refine Noam Betan’s performance. Israel will perform 10th in tonight’s first semi-final in Vienna as they aim for a spot in the Grand Final.

The Israeli delegation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 conducted an additional special rehearsal following an incident during yesterday’s general rehearsal in which a cameraman collided with one of the Israeli dancers.
According to Kan (Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation), the collision involved dancer Lihie Freud during Noam Bettan’s performance. In response, Israeli officials were granted a unique extra rehearsal outside the main stage to correct the mistake, refine the number, and ensure precision.
The team, including the cameraman, Lihie Freud, and singer Noam Bettan, held a positive discussion afterward. The performance segment was successfully adjusted and met the required standards.
