Israel’s "Diamond" Revealed: Noam Bettan Stuns at First Eurovision Rehearsal

Expectations for Israel’s Eurovision entry are soaring following the successful first rehearsal of Noam Bettan and the "Kan" delegation today. Representing Israel with the song Michelle, Bettan revealed a high-concept staging that features the largest stage prop in this year's entire production.

The performance centers on a massive, spectacular structure dubbed "The Diamond." Production staff confirmed that this is the biggest physical prop utilized by any delegation in 2026.

The "Infinite Michelle" Effect

The performance opens with Bettan and one of his dancers positioned inside the massive Diamond. The interior is lined with a complex system of infinite mirrors, creating a breathtaking visual illusion that replicates the dancers countless times. This effect is designed to mirror the aesthetic of the official music video, surrounding Bettan with endless "Michelles."

The Road to the Final

The Israeli delegation expressed high satisfaction with the initial results. "The entire delegation is very pleased and excited," said Sharon Drecks, Head of the Kan Delegation. Director Yoav Tzafir added, "It’s a pleasure to work with a professional like Noam, who stepped onto the big Eurovision stage for the first time and performed like a king."

The contest will be broadcast live in Israel on Kan 11.

Bettan will face his first major hurdle next Tuesday as he attempts to secure a spot in the Grand Final.
