During a recent performance by acclaimed singer Regina Spektor in Portland, several audience members began shouting pro-Palestinian slogans, leading to a brief but tense exchange between the artist and protestors.
According to footage circulating on social media, one individual interrupted the show by shouting "Free Palestine," prompting a strong response from Spektor, who is Jewish and has publicly voiced support for the return of Israeli hostages following the October 7 events.
“You're just yelling at a Jewish woman,” Spektor replied from the stage. “I don’t know what you think you’re doing. I really appreciate the security.”
