Due to the visit of the US Vice President tomorrow (Tuesday), significant traffic and travel disruptions are expected in and around Ben Gurion Airport.
Traffic and Road Closures:
- Route 1 (Tel Aviv–Jerusalem) and airport access roads will experience closures and delays from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with expected delays of 20–45 minutes.
- Afternoon motorcades on Route 1 and Begin Highway between 1:00–3:00 PM may result in rolling closures, causing up to 30-minute delays for commuters.

Air Travel:
- Travelers are advised to arrive at least 4 hours before departure and to use the train for airport access.
- International flights from Terminal 1 scheduled between 11:30 AM and 4:45 PM will be diverted to Terminal 3.
Public Transport:
- Buses and trains are not expected to be affected.
Authorities urge travelers and commuters to plan ahead and allow extra time to avoid disruptions.
