Explosive NYT Report: Israel Continues Demolishing Gaza Months After Cease-Fire

Sadly for us and for the New York Times, it's no longer a trustworthy source of news. Rather it's just another terror mouthpiece, which means that anything it says should be taken with a pinch of salt.

The New York Times claims that Israel has demolished more than 2,500 structures in Gaza since the fragile cease-fire took hold two months ago.

Drawing on satellite imagery from Planet Labs, the report paints a picture of ongoing destruction, even as both sides claim to uphold the truce.

The cease-fire, brokered under President Trump's 20-point plan, was meant to halt hostilities and allow for the dismantling of military infrastructure like Hamas tunnels. Yet, the Times analysis purports to show clusters of buildings in areas like Shejaiya, Gaza City, vanishing into wasteland, with some demolitions creeping up to 900 feet beyond the "yellow line," the boundary of Israeli-controlled zones.

With their antisemitic history and pespectives, no wonder the Times fails to see that Israel's actions are precise: Targeting booby-trapped homes and underground networks to demilitarize the strip. An anonymous military source told the Times that buildings sometimes collapse from tunnel detonations, and strikes occur on both sides without ground troops crossing lines.

Defense Minister Israel Katz doubled down in November, vowing to continue until "the last tunnel" is gone: "If there are no tunnels, there is no Hamas."
