Sa'ar: "Most moral and humane" thing to let Gazans leave
Foreign Minister Giden Sa'ar called the plan to let those Palestinians who wish to leave Gaza to do so the "most humane and moral" thing to do, just like any other refugee.

Speaking at the JNS International Conference today (Sunday), Foreign Minister Giden Sa'ar said that allowing the voluntary departure of Palestinians from the Gaza warzone was "the most moral and humane thing" to do, despite the opposition of Arab states.
Noting how Arab states have prevented Palestinian refugees from resettling elsewhere or gaining citizenship after the 1948 Israeli War Of Independence: "So in the same manner, they are trying to deny the rights of the Gazans, their free will or free choice to immigrate. And I'm saying very clearly, it's under two conditions. First, that certain person or a certain family wants to immigrate from its free will and free choice. They should have been given the same right as any other person on earth, from Syria, from Afghanistan, or from any other place. And the second condition should be that there is a state which is really to accept on the other side. But if these two conditions are met, and I believe there is a chance for that, then it's the most moral and humane things to do for someone who thinks they're a human being and not seeing them only as a weapon against Israel. Thank you."
The Israeli government, from Prime Minister Netanyahu to Defense Minister Katz to Foreign Minister Sa'ar, have all agreed to support President Trump's plan to allow Gazans who wish to leave third countries to do so, on condition that the departure is voluntary.
Defense Minister Katz even established an administration aimed at facilitating this departure within the Defense Ministry.
