Informed sources confirmed to Al Arabiya/Al Hadath that Hamas has lost security control over the Gaza Strip. They also added, today, Sunday, that thieves and gangs have begun to seize aid trucks, plunder homes, and terrorize residents.

According to the sources, Hamas is trying to use the family's mukhtars to help it control lawlessness and looting, but to no avail in light of the great famine.

Extremist groups have begun to regain their ranks in Gaza, and to include new elements in their ranks in the absence of Hamas' security system.

A large part of the government system fell due to assassinations of officials and cadres in the movement. Reportedly, complete paralysis prevails in all ministries, institutions and municipalities.

Hamas is facing significant difficulties in providing salaries for its employees after the cessation of taxes and income from various ministries amid the war. It was clarified that a large number of the movement's employees are working in other jobs or are relying on aid.

Since last Monday, the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" has begun distributing aid in one center west of Rafah city, following about 3 months of a suffocating blockade, promising to open centers in northern Gaza later. However, the distribution process witnessed chaos and pushing last Tuesday.

Additionally, several incidents of theft and looting of aid warehouses and food trucks have been recorded in recent days. Since the resumption of the war on the devastated enclave last March, Israel has imposed a tight blockade, preventing the entry of any medical or food aid, aiming to pressure Hamas and push it to make concessions at the negotiating table, as several Israeli officials have repeatedly reported.
