IDF eliminates Hamas commander who planned to bring down Israeli Air Force planes
The IDF announced that Ma'az Tzib, who directed aerial threats against Israel, was eliminated as part of a broader campaign that hit over 100 Hamas targets in 24 hours | WATCH


The IDF Spokesperson announced today (Tuesday) that the IDF and Shin Bet attacked in the northern Gaza Strip last week and eliminated Ma'taz Dib, the commander of Hamas's aerial unit in the northern strip.
According to the statement, Ma'taz promoted and directed terrorist plans to attack Israeli aircraft and launch unmanned aerial vehicles to harm the citizens of the State of Israel.
IDF forces under the Southern Command continue to operate under the guidance of the Intelligence Directorate and Shin Bet against terrorist organizations throughout the Gaza Strip, to destroy terrorist infrastructure and eliminate militants as part of Operation 'Gideon Chariots.'
Over the past 24 hours, the Air Force has attacked more than 100 terrorist targets across the Gaza Strip.

Among the targets attacked in the northern Gaza Strip are a weapons storage facility, terrorists, a military structure used by the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization which contained weapons, and underground terrain. Among the targets attacked in the southern Gaza Strip are terrorists, military buildings, and observation posts.
