IDF Eliminates Two Terrorists in Rafah Firefight
IDF forces kill 2 of 6 armed terrorists in western Rafah firefight involving tanks and airstrikes. Military calls incident "blatant ceasefire violation" as search continues.

IDF forces engaged in intense combat with an armed terrorist cell in western Rafah.
According to the IDF Spokesperson, "A short time ago, IDF observers identified six armed terrorists in the western Rafah area near IDF forces deployed in the southern Gaza Strip." The terrorists were spotted in territory currently under Israeli control.
Immediately following the identification, tanks arrived at the location and opened fire on the terrorists. The terrorists returned fire toward one of the tanks, initiating an exchange that included aerial strikes in the area.
"So far, forces have eliminated two terrorists," the IDF confirmed. "Forces continue searching the area for the terrorists, and the incident is still ongoing."
The remaining four terrorists are believed to have escaped, with IDF forces conducting sweeps of the surrounding area.
The IDF emphasized that the incident constitutes "a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement."
