Eitan Ben Yitzhak, From Har Bracha, Killed in Gaza Combat
Eitan Ben Yitzhak, a 22-year-old combat soldier from the Har Bracha community, was killed by an explosive device in Gaza. Mya his memory be a blessing.

It has been cleared for publication that Eitan Ben Yitzhak, a 22-year-old resident of the community of Har Bracha, was killed in combat in the Gaza Strip. Ben Yitzhak, a combat soldier in the Egoz unit and a cadet in an officers’ course, was killed by an explosive device.
He was married just three months ago to his wife, Atara Steinbach. He is survived by his wife, parents, and siblings.
The Har Bracha local council released a statement, saying, “In shock and pain, we were notified with great sorrow of the fall of a resident of our community, Eitan Ben Yitzhak, may God avenge his blood, the husband of Atara (Steinbach), a soldier in Egoz, who fell in battle in Gaza.” The council added that funeral details would be announced at a later time.
Yossi Dagan, Head of the Samaria Regional Council and a relative of Eitan, delivered a eulogy:
"Eitan grew up in a family of values, Zionism, and Torah. A great believer in the settlement of the land, a front-line combat soldier, and dedicated. It was natural that they would make their home in Har Bracha. At their wedding, they held a special tribute for those killed and their friends. Our hearts are broken for his youth, for the family that was supposed to blossom here in Samaria and will not be with us.
Dear Atara, daughter of a deep-rooted family in Har Bracha, who grew up here and brought him here to Samaria, and now we must accompany him on his final journey. All of us, the council and the community, will support the Ben Yitzhak and Steinbach families in every way possible during this difficult time. We will strengthen ourselves together and never be broken. We are here to build the land and to be victorious."
