IDF Strike Hits Hamas Chief's Brother in Gaza’s Khan Yunis | WATCH
The IDF strike in Khan Yunis was aimed at eliminating Mohammad Sinwar, brother of October 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar.
A short time ago today (Tuesday), the IDF launched a major strike against underground Hamas infrastructure, with the aim of eliminating Mohammad Sinwar, senior Hamas leader and brother of slain October 7 mastermind, Yahya Sinwar.
The IDF released this statement regarding the strike:
"The IDF and Shin Bet recently conducted a precise strike against Hamas terrorists who were in a command and control center established in an underground infrastructure beneath the European Hospital in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza Strip.
"The Hamas terrorist organization continues to use hospitals in the Gaza Strip for terrorist purposes, cynically and cruelly exploiting the civilian population in and around the hospital.
"Prior to and during the strike, measures were taken to minimize the possibility of civilian casualties, including the use of precision munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence information.
"The IDF and Shin Bet will continue to act forcefully against the Hamas terrorist organization and remove any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel."
