The IDF reportedly considering carrying out a "very unusual" attack on Iran in retaliation for the missile strike on the Bazan oil refineries, a strategically critical facility for Israel, according to a report by Kann News today (Wednesday):

"[Israel has] been discussing in recent days the option of an unprecedented response in Tehran – as a reaction to a possible strike on the facility in Haifa. In the discussion that took place, there was unanimity regarding the need for sharp action in case of a strike like the one that occurred at the facility, and a concrete course of action was even chosen that cannot be elaborated upon at this stage.

"The discussion took place even before the strike that occurred at the nuclear facility – but despite this, it was decided for now to delay the execution of the action. A source involved in the details notes: "The possibility of carrying out such a move - is still on the table."

No further details were provided.
