Yarden Bibas, the sole survivor from his family after their abduction by Hamas, shared a chilling social media post on Sunday marking what would have been his son Kfir's third birthday. Kfir, kidnapped as a nine-month-old infant, was murdered in captivity, an image that shocked the world and highlighted Hamas's brutality.
In the post, Yarden wrote: "Kfir my beloved, you managed to evacuate the house due to a round in Gaza a few months after you were born. You managed to taste solid food, started crawling, and managed to celebrate your brother's fourth birthday. You didn't manage to celebrate your first birthday, so how can I mark your third?"
He continued: "Kfir, I'm sorry I brought you into such a cruel world. I hope you know how much I love you and how much I miss you! I'm sure Mom, Ariel, and Toni are celebrating with you in heaven. I'm sure Mom is making you the best and happiest birthday possible, just as she knows how. I love you the most in the world, always in the world."
