The ceasefire with Lebanon has collapsed. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have begun launching raids on targets and striking beyond the Yellow Line in Lebanon.

Earlier today, the IDF ordered residents of a major city in southern Lebanon to immediately evacuate their homes. The military intends to launch an offensive on the city of Nabatieh, a known Hezbollah stronghold. The IDF's Arabic-language spokesperson, Col. Avichay Adraee, issued an urgent warning to the residents of the city and its surrounding areas to evacuate the space immediately.

According to IDF assessments, many of Hezbollah's field commanders are currently located inside Nabatieh, operating from command centers established within the city.

In the urgent statement published by Col. Adraee, he stated:

"An urgent warning to the residents of Lebanon, and especially to the residents of the city of Nabatieh: Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire forces the IDF to act against it with power. The IDF does not wish to harm you. For your own safety, you must evacuate your homes in the villages and towns immediately and move north of the Zaharani River. Anyone who is found near Hezbollah operatives, its infrastructure, or its weapons is putting their life at risk."

While Netanyahu, the IDF Chief of Staff, Finance Minister Smotrich, Ben Gvir and the IDF have had enough of Hezbollah's drones wreaking havoc, and killing and wounding soldiers operating in Southern Lebanon, Trump has not given Netanyahu the green light to attack terror targets in Beirut. For now, they are focusing on Nabatieh.

Israeli journalist Tamir Morag said that Israel appears to be in the midst of a significant escalation with Lebanon, amid growing tensions over potential military action in Beirut.

According to Morag, Iranian officials are reportedly sending messages warning that if Israel carries out strikes in Beirut, Tehran would view it as grounds to abandon the current understandings or agreements related to the regional situation and this could create friction between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu over policy toward Lebanon and Iran.

At the same time, Hezbollah's Al-Manar channel reports IDF ground forces are also pushing north of the Litani River into the Beaufort Ridge area, with activity focused near the village of Zoter al-Sharqiya. (Open Source Intel)
