Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially decided not to grant Hadar Muchtar a reserved spot on the Likud party's Knesset list. In Israeli politics, a "pezam" (reserved slot) allows party leaders to place candidates directly on the electoral list without going through primaries.
Political commentator Yaron Avraham responded to the decision on social media, writing: "Who would have believed that Hadar Muchtar would humiliate herself again and in the end not even get the reserved slot. Never mind, next time she can try with Ra'am." Ra'am is an Arab-Israeli political party.
Recent reports indicated that Muchtar had been conducting negotiations with Minister Itamar Ben Gvir. When asked about these contacts during an interview on Channel 14, she responded that in politics, one speaks to everyone.
