Two Women Pass Screening for 669 Tactical Rescue Unit
Two women passed the necessary medical and security tests to join the 669 Tactical Rescue Unit.

History has been made in the IDF: two female draft candidates passed the necessary medical and security screening to be inducted into the 669 Tactical Search Unit.
Five women met the prerequisites for the unit and two made it through pre-training. They will be the first women to start training that takes a year and eight months in the unit. Should they complete it, they will become fully fledged members of the unit.

The IDF stated that 12% of those enlisting in combat positions for women were draft candidates seeking to join combat positions since the war started, and that there is higher than 100% demand for combat positions among female draft candidates.
These are the draft numbers of women relative to targets:
Border infantry – 116%
Field intelligence – 133%
Artillery – 132%
Aerial defense – 101%
