Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a statement a short while ago about the continuation of the fight against Hamas: "We continue the war until the end. It will continue until Hamas is eliminated - until victory."
"Those who think we will stop are not connected to reality," says Netanyahu. "We will not stop fighting until we achieve all the goals we have set: the elimination of Hamas, the release of our hostages and the removal of the threat from Gaza. We are attacking Hamas with fire - infernal fire. Everywhere, including today.
"We also attack their helpers from near and far. All Hamas terrorists, from the first to the last, are mortals. They only have two options: surrender or die." Netanyahu's words are said to be against the background of various reports regarding a long ceasefire that will come in the coming days in exchange for the release of more hostages.
