Yossi Dagan calls for harsh response: “Turn terror villages into Khan Yunis”

Samaria Council Leader Yossi Dagan issued a sharp response today (Wednesday) to the terrorist attack tonight, which wounded a man and a pregnant woman.

Dagan said that "this is an area where four serious attacks have occurred in a short period of time – all on the same road, in the same place. The traffic route has become a terror hotspot, and the response must be accordingly: clear, strong, and deterrent."

Dagan further stated that: "The containment doctrine is dead – it needs a death certificate. My residents, citizens of the State of Israel, cannot drive on a main road without fearing being shot at. Jewish blood cannot be spilled like water, and the State of Israel must not get accustomed to this."

The Samaria Council Leader insisted that it was the prerogative of the official security forces to deal with this matter, but that they must deal with it more forcefully.
