Itamar Ben Gvir

Uproar after Ben Gvir tweets "Hamas loves Biden": "Danger to the Zionist enterprise"

After Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir tweeted "Hamas Loves Biden," opposition leader Yair Lapid demanded Netanyahu fire him: "He endangers every citizen and soldier in the State of Israel."

After MK Itamar Ben Gvir caused a firestorm this morning after tweeting: "Hamas Loves Biden," MK Naama Lazimi (Labour) wrote: "Ben Gvir, you are a danger to the Jewish people, Israel and the Zionist enterprise. There is only one person more dangerous than you - the man who allowed you into the Knesset and the government of Israel."

"Nothing good comes from the extreme right or left in power"

Channel 13 journalist Nadav Eyal wrote: "When I watch Ben Gvir and the crowd of fools who support his ideas, explicitly or implicitly, I really understand and imagine the zealots of Jerusalem setting fire to the granaries in order to force the desperate public, fed up with war, to fight a losing battle. And against whom? Not against Hamas but the US. Nothing good comes from the extreme right (or left) in power."

Former journalist Nadav Perry tweeted: "How did this become the leadership of this nation? How, how, how?"

"How did it happen that the People of the Book, the people that gave birth to Einstein, Kafka, Brandeis and many others, the people that produced a disproportionate number of Nobel laureates, the people that books were written and studies were done to trace the genetic origins of their intelligence - how did it happen that this is their leadership?"
