Watch: Plane works to put out fire in north

The Regional Council of Merom Hagalil released footage today (Tuesday) showing a firefighting plane working to put out a fire caused by Hezbollah projectiles in the Birya area.

Merom Hagalil Regional Council head Amit Sofer said that they are "making enormous efforts with the tools it has to control the fires and to prevent them, but in a realistic scenario of war starting in the north and the launching of thousands of rockets into the area, the tools we have will not be sufficient."

He said that "we demand to prepare for a scenario of an extreme fire in a large number of centers already now and now wait for the disaster if it comes."
