Gaza evacuees to stay in hotels for another month
Residents evacuated from the Gaza periphery will stay in hotels for another month, until August 15th.

In a recent decision, the Israeli government has extended the stay of residents evacuated from the Gaza periphery who are currently housed in hotels and temporary accommodations. This extension, approved until August 15th, comes amid ongoing security and rehabilitation considerations.
As reported by Kann News, the directive, issued by the T'kuma Administration under the Prime Minister's Office, aims to ensure that the return of these communities to their homes, located within 7 kilometers of the Gaza border, is managed in a coordinated manner. This involves careful coordination with the Ministry of Finance to assess both security and recovery conditions.
"The administration will finalize arrangements regarding the timeline for residents to return home, taking into account security protocols and rehabilitation efforts," a statement from the Prime Minister's Office affirmed.
The decision reflects ongoing efforts to support and safeguard residents affected by the recent escalations in the region, providing them with necessary accommodations until conditions are deemed safe for their return.
