Yossi Schneider, a cousin of Shiri Bibas, castigated Knesset member Benny Gantz, for saying he believed that Israeli authorities knows the fate of the family and that the public would learn about it “when things come to fruition.”

In an interview with Israel's Channel 2, Schneider said: "They opened a route for humanitarian trucks - where is our humanitarian aid? For 8 months the Red Cross did not visit them."

He added: "Apparently Benny Gantz has also become the Minister of TikTok. It's time for our leaders to stop talking and divulging things that sometimes even harm the security of the State of Israel. This is ridiculous and despicable in my eyes."
