IDF fighters eliminate a terrorist squad in Rafah, Fighting in Gaza continues

Givati Brigade's combat team identified terrorist installations in Rafah, including sites with PGMs ready for launch. The IDF's operations in the Gaza Strip persist across ground, air, and sea.

During an operation by the Givati Brigade's combat team in Rafah, a drone detected an armed terrorist squad advancing toward them. Swift action by IDF forces led to the elimination of the squad. Additionally, the team located and destroyed missiles prepared for launch, according to Kikar Shabbat news sources.

Simultaneously, the 401 Brigade's combat team uncovered and demolished shafts and underground infrastructure in the Tel Al Sultan area.

In central Gaza, the Alexandroni Brigade's combat team conducted raids on multiple military structures housing various weapons.

Reports confirmed that a fighter from the 52nd Battalion, Iron Footprint Formation (401), sustained serious injuries during a battle in southern Gaza last night.

Major General Herzi Halevi, Chief of Staff, conducted a situation assessment in Rafah on Friday with Major General Yaron Finkelman, Commander of the Southern Command, Lieutenant Colonel Itzik Cohen of Division 162, brigade commanders, and other senior officers.

During his briefing in Rafah, Major General Halevi remarked, "Iran arms them, and you are fighting here with one arm; we are countering them with other means elsewhere, demanding excellence against each adversary."
