In the background of the reports about the cease-fire talks: following the alerts that were activated in the Central Galilee region a short time ago, about 25 launches that crossed the territory of Lebanon and fell in open areas. Earlier today, Hezbollah fired a barrage of several dozen rockets at the area of ​​the city of Safed, apparently in response to the elimination of the head of the organization's air force. Initial reports indicate that about 80 rockets were fired in the barrage, at this stage there are no reports of casualties.

The IDF has updated: Following the alerts that were activated in the Upper Galilee area at 6:01-6:03 p.m., about 45 launches were detected that crossed the territory of Lebanon, some of them were intercepted and the rest fell in open areas.

MDA said: "Following the alarms that were heard in the last few minutes in the north of the country. MDA teams went out to search scenes in several places, so far no casualties have been found. Update later if necessary." In addition, the IDF eliminated Muhammad Hossein Sarur, the commander of the air unit of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, using fighter jets.

The IDF spokesman's statement about his assassination reads: "In recent years, he was one of the leaders of projects for the production of unmanned aircraft in Lebanon, established sites to create explosive and collection drones in Lebanon, some of which were located under civilian buildings in capitals and other areas in Lebanon.
